Kendall Square Cinema
Review by Jouissance on 02/04/07:
Last night I went to see Wresting with Angels, a documentary about playwright Tony Kushner. That I could see this film in a theatre gets that theatre and A from me.
There was no middle aisle, no coke spilled on the floor, and the seats were staggered and comfy.
Kendall Square cinema is known for great foreign, documentary, restored and independent films. It was built in 1995 so it does not have the same issues that some 'art house' theatres that attempt to adapt older venues into more modern space.
Located in Cambridge, parking is a premium but the attached garage offers parking that cost me under $3 with a validated parking ticket.
For folks who live near the T, you can reach the cinema via the red line, at the Kendall/MIT stop.
Cinema Grade = B+
